WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR FOR THE SPA THERMAL SUITE
SWIMWEAR
Appropriate swimwear is required when using the Thermal Suite.
FOOTWEAR
Please bring appropriate footwear to enter the Thermal Suite.
TOWEL
We recommend that you bring a spare towel for a shower after your visit.
We provide a bathrobe and towel for you to use during your visit which are subject to a £5.00 returnable deposit. We also sell flip flops for a small charge.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
Your well-being is our priority and some treatments and/or use of the spa facilities may not be suitable or require adjustment. Please inform us of any health related conditions prior to your arrival at the spa. Treatments are conducted subject to completion of a satisfactory health consultation form. Expectant mothers must be over 12 weeks’ pregnant to undertake any treatments which can be tailored to suit. Expectant mothers are not permitted to use the Spa Thermal Suite.
ARRIVAL TIME
We suggest that you arrive 30 minutes early if it is your first visit to Afon Spa. This will allow time for us to complete a consultation with you and offer any refreshments. For subsequent appointments, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking.
LATE ARRIVAL
Regrettably, late arrival for your appointment will result in a reduced treatment time. All appointment times quoted include preparation, consultation and treatment.
AGE RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES
Whilst young people under the age of 16 years are not permitted to use the Spa Thermal Suite, we do offer teen treatments for guests aged 13-15 years though they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
FOOD & DRINK
With the exception of the Thermal Suite, food and alcohol (purchased on site only) may be consumed in the spa.
We politely request that you respect your fellow guests and Aura colleagues by refraining from excessive, noisy or disruptive behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse the serving of alcohol and/or access to facilities.
MOBILE PHONES
Our aim is to provide a tranquil environment for all visitors and, therefore, mobile phones are not permitted in the Spa Thermal Suite. We also politely request that mobile phones are turned off for the duration of treatments.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
All Treatments, Spa Packages and Spa Entry must be paid in full upon booking. To avoid disappointment please ensure you book well in advance of your preferred date. We require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, whereby a full refund will be given or your booking moved to another day. Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will not receive a refund. There is an additional charge for the Spa Thermal Suite if it is not included in your Spa Package.
